New Hope Christian Academy is a non-denominational Christian School which promotes the Word of God and exposes
its students to not only a good academic education but also a biblical one. A true education must involve both of these things.
By integrating character building principles and Scripture memory into the academics, children grow to see life from God’s
point of view. By focusing on the individual needs of each student, the Accelerated Christian Education program helps children
master each academic concept before moving on to the next. The students learn goal setting habits and how to take responsibility
for their own learning. The result - graduates with an excellent academic knowledge and the strength of character to do right.
New Hope Christian Academy also offers home schooling using their curriculum. We can aide parents who wish
to home school their children. We keep track of all work completed and maintain their academic record.
New Hope Christian Academy will accept students in Pre-K (ages 3-5) through 12th Grade. Admission
decisions are made by the administration after the application process is complete
New Hope Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights,
privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at New Hope. It does not discriminate
on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies,
scholarship and loan programs and athletic and other school-administered programs.
“We realize that education apart from Biblical values is not true education. We want to provide quality,
individualized, character-building educational materials to the families. We appreciate the opportunity to help in the education
of your children. New Hope Christian Academy is non-denominational.
We will work to equip your children with the ability to think critically, act responsibly, and live wisely.
Each child is placed in an individualized curriculum which ensures students to begin at the exact point of
their academic needs and ability.
New Hope Christian Academy utilizes the School of Tomorrow curriculum. Each subject is divided into what is
called PACEs, conventional textbook that has been divided into bite-sized, achievable, work texts. Three PACEs in each subject
is to be completed in each nine week period. Each subject consists of 12 PACES and six subjects for each student is to be
taken.
Character traits, like kindness, loyalty, and honesty, are taught within the curriculum. PACEs integrate character-building
lessons and Bible verses into the academic content. PACEs are also carefully designed to develop thinking skills and create
mastery learning.”
Philosophy
We believe that:
-
Each child is an individual.
-
Each child learns differently and must be taught accordingly.
-
Each child learns at a different pace.
-
Each child must be taught at his/her own pace so as not to be held back nor left behind.
-
Each child has strengths and weaknesses.
-
Each child must be taught in a manner so that weaknesses becomes strengths.
